This always happens..

Why is it before every big trip or nice dinner or fancy night out.. (or whatever the occasion might be) we get sick. Yep saturday night was fight night over and muffy and jason's. It started off fun with a barbque and all. The girls came with us and were having fun playing with jordan. Well about the time that the big fight was about to come on.. Lilly starts puking up red juice all over their house. Took her to the bathroom and she kept puking red on their bathroom rug which happened to be white... oopsie.. they were really nice about it. Jason even cleaned up lilly's puke in the living room. HAHa. So we had to leave and lilly stayed up till 4 am puking her litttle guts up. Sunday she did much better and we were just careful with her giving her lots of fluids and easy stuff to eat. Today Emma has swim lessons. We missed one on friday because we had so much stuff to do and we were just running late. So When she woke up this morning she seemed just fine. After i mentioned swim lessons she started telling me she didnt' feel good. I asked her where she didn't feel good and she said my belly and my neck. So i figured sh ewas faking ot get out of swim classes. She loves it when we are there but getting her to go is like pulling teeth the last couple of times. Anyway so we got ready went and visited my mom and then we were going to drop lilly off at daycare while i took emma to swim lessons. We got to lilly's daycare and emma was still whining about not feeling well.. i was about to tell her to suck it up we are going to swim lessons when she let it all out. Yep threw up everywhere right in the daycares parking lot. So needless to say no one went anywhere. We are all right here at home. Allan told me he was coming home for lunch before we even got home. HE said he was having some stomach issues.. yep he has it too. So now everyone has ahd it but me and i really don't want ot get it. I've been scrubbing my hands like crazy but taking care of all of these sicky's over here is wearing me out. lol. I just want all of them to get better so we can leave to alabama on thrusday and have fun! Lilly is doing much better and she really only had it for 24 hours so hopefully they will get to feeling better too. I gave emma and allan an immodium ad which is totally opposite from what we learn in school but ... they both sounded so bad with it ocming out both ends that i had to do something. So cross your fingers and hope that it just works and that they got enough out before it plugs them up. Keep our family in your prayers please. Thi sure isn't a nice bug.

lilly got a new rocking chair

This on is of lilly and her new rocking chair. I got it at a yardsale for 3 bucks and she still likes it. She was rocking in it again tonight. This is of when she first really sat in it. I don't know what's going on with these videos but if it says it's unavailable try it again. lol

Another Lilly report..

So like i said before lilly went to daycare today for the first time. She did cry and tried to hold on to me for dear life when i was leaving. That made me a little nervous but i figured she would snap out of it. Well i left and had 3 whole hours of uninterrupted kidfree adult time. lol. which i wasted aimlessly wondering if i should call or go by and check on her. HAha. Well I waited it out by cleaning and then going to the mall for a bit. I got a pair of jeans which i don't need now but i will when school starts. I also found a pair of white sandals to go with my dress for the wedding. I didn't have any good strappy shoes. So i went to pick her up and got there at exactly 3 on the dot. When i came in my heart just hit the floor because i knew that the crying child was lilly in an instant. Funny how you just know their cry from all others. Well i was hoping that she hadn't just been crying for 3 hours straight but she was crying when i left and then crying when i came back. So she saw me and cried until i picked her up. I asked the nice lady that had watched her if she had been crying the whole time. She reassured me that she did really good and that she had only started crying and it was because she hadn't had a nap all day and they had just came in from outside. She said lilly had loved outside and that they would be sure to take her out there everyday that she came. They said she played and threw rocks everywhere. They told me she didn't bite or hit anyone and that she really was only unhappy for about 10 minutes out of the whole time she was there. SHEWWWW.. what a relief! They said they were really impressed with how well she did because most kids totally freak out their first time. They thought she had liked it and had fun. I don't think she will ever be able to take a nap there. She just wont go to sleep if there is something else to do and she isn't at home. She came home and the poor thing was so tired. I handed her a bottle and she started walking to her room. She has never really walked into her room for a nap. I put her in her crib and haven't heard a peep out of her. My little girl is growing up.. sniff sniff.. she even looks biger today in jean shorts and a hawaiin top.

It hasn't slowed down a bit around here since my last post. I have a feeling that our summer is just going to be this way.. NOnstop action. Lets see i think i left off on monday so.. Tuesday morning we got up, Emma had stayed over at our neighbors house. Clara which is their 6 year old was happy to have her bulid forts with her. So i had told her before she went over there that on tuesday morning ( next day) that we had to get up early and take lilly to her doctor apt. I told her that she needed to come home when she got up over at clara's so that she wouldn't stay over there all morning playing. Well i forget that they take everything literally. I woke up at 730am and Emma was sound asleep on our couch. I first thought that maybe she hadn't made it thru the night because she tends to not like staying other places. Last time she tried she only made it till 930pm when both girls ended up on the doorstep crying cause emma wanted to come home. Anyway she had made it thru the night and apparently she had listened to what i said and came home right when she first woke up which was 6am. Clara's mom Erica told me later that she heard clara come in her room and asked her what was going on so early and clara said" nothing .. i just walked emma home." yep the girls walked themselves back at 6am. lol.. good thing we live two steps away i guess. Next time i'll have to have the talk about letting an adult know your leaving or coming. HAHA. Anyway so we got up tuesday and went to our doctor apt that wasn't even till 1015am. Poor lilly got 2 shots but she is done till kindergarten with her shots. Thank goodness!
Lilly wieghed in at a whopping 23 lbs and 6 oz and she is 32 inches tall. This put her in the 80% for height and 30% for weight according to the nurse. The doctor said 75-90 for height and 25-50 for weight.. ?? he is a little more vauge about it. lol
After her apt lilly go tot go to the parade. We only caught about the last 10-20 minutes of it. We stayed long enough for some rude lady to yell at me and after i proceeded to get pissed and yelled back at her and told her to get a cop cause i wasn't moving.. well she sat down and didn't say another word but it ruined my day for a while. I just hate angry women that don't have manners.. anyone else? lol..
So we left the parade and came home and took naps for a bit to help lilly feel better after her shots.
When we got back up it was time to go to the fair again with our firend holly that has the two boys. Jacob is ten and Jd is 2 almost 3. So the girls have a good time with those boys. JD was so cute saying "my lilly" when lilly came in. He tries to flirt and tickle her. Its cute. So off to the fair. We were doing so good. After our thermopolis trip a few weeks ago we weren't really ready to try all thed kids again with just the two of us so holly's ex husband came with. EH helped with all the kids. Jacob and Emma rode alot fo the big kid rides. I was suprised that they would let emma go on some of them but she has no fear. Jacob the 10 year old ws scared to go on some of the ones she wanted to go on. I took pictures of it but they don't really do the ride justice. You would just have to be there to see how brave this kido is. lol.. brave or stupid.. lol there is a fine line. I have a feeling lilly is oging to be just like that too cause she wanted to go on the rides too and i would have to keep draggin her back away from the fences. She loved the carousel though. She did't want to get off of it at all. Anyway just about when we were going to give ourselves a big pat on the back for keeping all these fiesty kids under control.. lilly was standing on the picnic table bench behind me.. well she fell off and it's the first time in her life that i was too distracted to actually catch her. i turned around in time to barely graze and miss catching her. She hit her face hard on the bench and then again on the wheel of her stroller. Her nose started gushing blood and then her mouth started bleeding too. I couldn't tell if it was her teeth or her tongue. People around us went to get ice but it didn't help cause she wouldn't let me hold it on there and she wouldn't let me pinch her nose to try to stop the bleeding. Best i could do was get it tilted up and keep wiping it while she screamed. Her mouth turned out to be her tongue after all. She almost pierced it good thing they heal quickly. So she had a rough day. Oh and we got poured on at the fair so we felt pretty gross anyway. We came home and the girls stayed up till 1130pm. I don't know how either one of them were hanging in there but lilly perked back up and wanted to wrestle with emma apparetnly. Emma kept laughing histeracally at lilly cause lilly would try to just jump full blast on her and lay on her and kick her.
Finally they all went to sleep once i put them in their own beds i didn't hear one peep out of either of them. Lilly woke up twice in the night but i gave her the bottle both times and she went right back to sleep. Someone tell me that their kid has done this too and there is an end to it right?? she is almost 2 and still not sleeping thru the night. it can't go on forever right? she is getting good about just going to sleep when i put her in her bed and not crying for naps. That's a start right?
Today was swim lessons again. Emma went home with her aunt liz after the lessons. I took lilly to a daycare today. I am suppose to leave her there till 3pm but i may go back and get her early. I want her to do well. She of course cried and tried to follow me out of there but she does that usually even in the nursery at church so i'm hoping that she will perk up and have fun after i'm gone. She always does at the church so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. That's how i have so much time to blog right now. haha.. anyway i'm going to go enjoy my time alone with no kids. This doesn't happen too often around here. I"m totally alone in the house. wow!! now if buddah would quite snoring beside me all would be peaceful. haha

What a busy busy last few days.

Okay so i'm typing with a hurt finger. I ripped my nail pretty much half way off of my pinky. I was suprised to find out how much i use that little finger. So this post should prove interesting. We have been going nonstop. We celebrated the fourth of july with freinds. We drove to glenrock and bought fireworks to shoot off. We had breakfast at a little diner down there. It was fun. When we got back we hung around the house till it was time to go to the ball park. We had tons of friends down there. We grilled out and played all kinds of games with all the kids. Tehre were tons of little girls for ema to play with but she ketp running up and asking me if "the boy" ws coming. The boy is holly's son jacob. Emma is a tom boy for sure. He is ten but has pretty good patience with her. I guess cause his little brother is only 3. So that was a good time. There are pictures on our photosite of that. Tehn the next day we went to church at liz and nolans church to see carson get dedicated. Allan's family was up for that so we got to visit with them afterward at liz's house where we had a great lunch. Nick and donna were down from north dakota(allan's parents friends) so it was good to put some faces with some names. Nolans family as also down from north dakota. They were very pleasant as normal. After that we went home and let allan mow the yard while the girls and i got naps. Then off to muffy and jason's we went. We had pizza over there. Emma got to see her friend jasmine. We all went to the fair when we were down eating pizza. The fair was tons of fun. It was fun to go with another couple cause we actually got to ride some rides this time. Lilly went on a few. Emma and jasmine snuck on a few that they weren't even suppose to be on.They aren't 48 inches tall. lol. It was a very good time. We stayed out till almost 11 again. Lilly was so out of sorts that she stayed up till ater 1am. It's getting a little ridicoulous so today she is in naptime bootcamp. I have her in her room in the crib with the door shut. I keep hearing her playing in there over the monitor. she has ben quite the last few minutes so i may go check on her. I'm going to start just sticking her in there and closing the door. She can come out when i'm ready i guess. And night time may be the same thing. I"m totally over this never sleeping thing and so is allan. So she can go ahead and feel neglected for the next week or two and get over it!! this mama has came to the end of her rope on that crap! lol Today was Emma's first swimming lesson. She did really good. Maddie and Liz are in the same swimming lessons except for tots. So we saw them at the pool. Maddie looked like she warmed up to it after a while. Emma was of course full blast the whole time. This kid has no fear. She did good at evrything that i saw. Except we need to work on her not holding her nose which is tough.. and watching what the teacher is doing cause she gets distracted by all the other kids. lol. Other than that she kicked and jumped and blew bubbles when she was suppose to. Her are a few pictures from the last few days but there are tons on our photosite

I'm telling you what!

Today has been one of those days. We have gotten nothing done today. I have laundry that is trying really hard to do itself but it just can't seem to get done without me. lol. I have dishes in the sink that are trying the same thing. I have to kids that are bored out of their minds i think. We did get in a good nap. We have arranged for a babysitter to come tonight at 6pm to watch the kidos cause allan and I need some time to talk and discuss things. He is contemplating a job offer. If he stays with this company he has to buy a couple of pricey tickets that he does get reimbursed for but why buy them if he is changing jobs? right.. What else. Oh daycare, I went and looked at a couple more daycares today. It was just really scary and a little depressing. I want lilly to be around other kids cause i think she needs the interaction but trying to trust someone to give her love is hard. Especially when it's their job not because they know her and love her. We have been blessed to have my mom watching her last year. However mom is starting her own job and does need to find herself so we need to arrange for other care. I'm in the middle of nursing school though and i can't exactly quit right now. I keep telling myself if i can just get thru this next year it will be down hill.. lol. It feels like i'm fighting an uphill battle right now though. So keep us in your prayers about allan's jobs and finding the right place for lilly. It's a scary thing to go thru. I'm okay with daycares i just want it to be the right one or right person. It's scary to me because she isn't old enough to tell me if someone is mean or does something bad. If she was talking i guess i would be a little better with it. Anyway i have to go do something with these kido's before they climb the walls of this house. Emma wants to play in the rain. It's only sprinkling and lilly just wants some attention. I've had too many random phone calls so she is getting a little aggravated with me now.
