im working the holiday. how about you guys? i did have all weekend off though and we had a big crab dinner with potatoes, grilled corn on the cob, garlic cheese biscuits, cole slaw, and cupcakes for desert. we all swam in the pool too. yesterday we took advantage of the sales and bought a lawnmower. we have a yard guy but allan has decided he wants to do it himself again so we had to get the tools. what else.. oh yesterday we weighed our puppy and he is a whopping 45 lbs. he is 6 months old so i think he is gonna be a pretty big doggie. lilly has been using her side walk chalk and riding her bike. she is obsessed with only having panties on. doesnt matter how many times i dress her she comes up with some reason why she needs to take them off. its been pretty hot but today is a cool ii degrees. maybe she will keep her clothes on today..lol oh i have also been using loreal revitalift night cream. this stuff is kinda amazing. if you guys dont have a face cream for night you should try it. its relatively cheap too like under 15 bucks. i can feel it working when i put it on. it makes my face feel so soft and smooth. i dont use it every night but i can still feel the difference from two nights ago. i know this blog is very random but its early and this is where my thoughts are haha..i guess i should also say a big thank you to all of those people that i served in the military with and to all the past and present military members. what other randomness is in my head?? oh they are selling fireworks on the roadsides already. i bought a box of sparklers from a gas station and the guy in their was forgein. he asked me what they were.. lol apparently they didnt have them in his country so i decided he needed to know what they were. i gave him a pack too with instructions to go home and light them. ok i gotta go into work now. see you all.

i know i know long time no blogging. i have been working and feeling exhausted from just that. its really stressful with the state about to come thru at any moment for an inspection. i have also had tons of homework that i have to deal with and then any free time is spent with allan and lilly. we are all doing well though. im looking forward to my friend leslie coming to visit in july. we may also plan a small trip to texas because britt laarons girlfriend? is graduating airforce bootcamp. he really wants to be there and i would love to see the family there but we dont know who is going yet. besides aaron. other than that ive had dental apts andhad to get two fillings. guess im getting old. emma is almost out of school and her birthday is coming up so we are trying to still plan that swimming party. we are having a crab dinner on saturday for a different birthday. hope everyone is doing well.

yard pics.

Okay the first one is of our dog "rocky" .. he is a silly thing. I find him sleeping up against the door like this all the time. I thought he was dead the first time i saw him laying there.

I got some of these on mothers day. Yummo! they are huge!!! edible arrangements is so yummy.

Okay so on to the yard. All of my " purple" bushes are getting ready to bust out in color. I don't know what they are but there are plenty of them. i'd say the majority of our bushes are these things but i don't know the name so i call them my " purple" bushes.

These are the honeysuckle that i planted about a month ago. They are just now starting to take off. I gave them a dose of miracle grow the other day and then they perked up and started spreading out over the back fence. They still have quite a distance to spread if they are going to block out the neighbors view, lol. But i'm glad they are making it anyway.

Can you see the bloom from the cactus plant. Can you tell I'm horrible with plant names. I'm okay with some but it's the ones i grew up with. I do not know the names of the plants out here in arizona especially all the cacti ones. I did think it's bloom was interesting though.

This is another weird cacti plant bloom. They are all ove rth eneighborhood with their long pink blossoms. On the right side is one of the jasmine plants. Star jasmine. It smells yummy at night and the whole thing bloomed so heavy.

The biggest one of the jasmine. It's right by our porch. Sandy do you remember when you were here and we were thinking that it might have some white blooms on it.. lol.. Yeah it was covered a few weeks later. It turned out really pretty.

This is the third jasmine and my hibiscus. The hibiscus i love because it has bloomed forever. I'm serious. It was blooming when i bought it and has bloomed everyday this month. It has about two new blooms aday but the flowers are huge. It still has a ton of buds on it. I pick off the old and then it gets new ones. I"m hoping it grows and grows. I plan to add a few more next year. I went back to get a couple more and they just didn't look that good.

Anyway we leave for san diego tomorrow morning. We are going to pick up emma on the way but she doesn't know it yet. We plan on sneaking to her school and suprising her. She has no idea she is going to get to miss two days of class and go to cali and to sea world and the beach. Lilly is still super excited about all of this. She wants to pick oranges off of the trees and play in the gardens. We plan on trying to see my great grandmother. Lilly's great great grandmother. She has only seen lilly once so I want to try to get her over there again.

SO i need to finish my packing. Ill post pics when i get back home.

i know im completely horrible..

I haven't posted on here in forever. To be quite honest i barely get on facebook anymore either. I am just enjoying my time with allan and lilly. We sat out in the pool today on floats and just played as a family. I guess i really have no news to write about we are just happy and enjoying life. I do want to take some pictures of my yard. I love these jasmine bushes that are blooming. They smell sooo delicious when the wind blows the right way and it catches your nose with their scent. just heavenly. So i will take some pictures of that soon. I started two classes which puts me at full time for school for the next two months. TONS OF PAPERS!! blah blah yak yak! can you tell i'm totally not in love with the paper writing anymore. yep. over it entirely but unfortunately i have a few more classes to go to get my degree. boohoo. Allan is finishing his last class. Well he is only on week 2 of 8 but it's his last classs for his degree. He will finally be a college graduate! woohoo. go baby go! I do believe he is going to go on also and try to get close to getting a bachlorette also. .
our rocky dog is getting so big. He use to play with the other dog honey ( toy poodle) really well but now he tromps on her. Still just trying to play but he is too big. I think we are going to have to take him over to john and serrah's to visit their big old dog. Maybe that dog will teach him a thing or two. haha. we will see. Anyway, I promis i will try to post some pics or another blurb sometime in the next few days. We are planning on going to san diego next week so at very least i'll write about that when we get back. Sorry we are just enjoyin the weather and being a family. No news is good news! ;-)
