Lillys third bday

Yes my little munchkin turned three today. can you believe it? I can't. Where does the time even go. Anyway we decided to have her birthday in jan because it's just too close to christmas and everyone is overdone and she is still playing with her new christmas toys. YEs so we are going to have a party at the park with pizza and cake and invite some of the neighborhood kids and our fe friends here in jan. With that being said.. we couldn't do nothing today. lol. I told lilly happy birthday this morning when i got home from work and well she knows what birthdays are so i guess this set her off for the rest of the day. I went to bed because i was exhausted from working the last three nights but mom said lilly started planning her own party and telling her what they needed. First was a cake. WE happened to have one in the pantry so mom decided why not and made a birthday cake up. Then lilly said we needed to clean the house and make it pretty so they started picking up the toys. I guess next she decided that no birthday is complete without balloons cause they woke me up saying they were going out to the store to get some balloons. lol.. okay then when they were at the store lilly said " and candles" so they got candles too.. my mom apparently can't say no to a birthday girl. So tonight the guys came home from work and we had dinner and then lilly blew out her candles on her cake and asked us where her presents were. lol.. luckily grandma sandy and aunt liz had sent presents already so we let her open those. Boy did they come in handy at just the right time. HAHA. She loved the stamp set she got from liz and played with that right after cake. She was happy with her shirts also from grammy sandy. Thank you both for sending her presents. she really did enjoy opening them today. Check the photosite for all the pictures.

lilly really loved her pillow from grammy sandy

she hugged and hugged that pillow. I tried to capture it on tape but was a little too late to get the first real reaction but i caught the end of it and she really liked that pillow. We also read the book grammy sandy sent emma last night before bed. It was a very sweet story about an acorn who grows to be a mighty oak. ;-)

oh infamous cow. if you have small children i highly suggest buying one of these. our girls jump on this thing like every day they are here. It is literally one of their favorite toys. We may end up buying a second one.

I just have to say that we threw on clothes that were warm and ran out of the house to go walk the Loop of Lights that our neighborhood has. It was very fun for the girls but they look like little hobo children in these pictures because it was 830ish and they were going to take baths and get in bed afterwards. lol.. they loved doing this though.

here we go again..

Well i got in contact with the job that offered me a position and asked about part time. They are having troupble finding someone else that wants part time also. So i said i could do the full time until they could find someone that wanted part time also. So then she said great and she would call me right back.. well she called right back and asked if i could come in for a second interview with her the doctor. I'm not sure what to think about that.. a second interview after they already offered me the job?? does that mean they aren't sure if they want to offer me the job? i'm just not sure what to think about that but I'm heading back down there tomorrow for the interview with the doctor. So wish me luck i guess. I'm not that worried yet. I've been praying about it and i guess if i'm suppose to work there then it will all work out and if not then god must just have a better job for me. I did put in a few more resumes for other jobs tonight and so we will see. I keep putting in 5-10 resumes every day hoping someone will want to take the plunge and hire a new grad. Seriously nursing shortage my a@#! apparently arizona hasn't heard anything about this so called nursing shortage because no one seems to want to hire a perfectly good nurse without experience. lol. oh well i guess it will all work out when it's suppose to.
Different news.. we got a bunkbed today for the girls. Lilly loves it and still does not want to sleep in her room. She played in there all day and took good care of her new bed and cleaned up the whole room and put lots of blankets and pillows and animals on it but tonight she still doesn't wan tto sleep in there. I think she will do better when emma comes to stay the night. all the other rooms have a television in them except hers but i think we found one on craigslist for like 30 bucks so she may get one in there and i bet a good movie on in her room will also help her get comfy in there. She loves her and emma's room but just hates being alone in there i think. She would much rather sleep with me or her grandma LALA. Anyway I'm headed to bed. Hope everyone had a good monday.

These pictures are all of lilly's gumdrop tree. It's a tradition. Some years we have elaborate ones with lights and big pots to hold them and other years we just do this tiny little one. I'm still not sure where we found that tiny little tree but it has came in handy a few years. lol..
